Cohu iDomes now "plug-compatible" with existing Vicon domes.

 

Cohu’s 3920 iDome camera, a mainstay of the U.S. ITS market can now be requested in a Vicon “plug-compatible” version. This feature allows the 3920 dome camera to replace Vicon dome cameras in existing installations without the need to purchase and install a new cable. When customers are looking to upgrade to the Cohu iDome camera, they can now avoid most of the costs associated with installing a new camera, including: material cost for cabling, labor costs for cable installation, and associated lane closure expenses.
